Hey, I’m Lulu - Eating Psychology Coach and Mentor

I help women heal emotional eating, binge eating, body image concerns, and bring peace back into their relationship with food and body

Your guide to feeling at home in your body again

Since 2018 I’ve coached individuals all over the world with food struggles, body image concerns, negative self-talk, self-confidence blocks, and finding peace around old wounds. I’ve led Workshops, run Nutrition courses in the CrossFit community, and presented in front of many audiences including at the Ancestral Society of New Zealand

I’m a Certified Eating Psychology Coach (now Mind-Body Eating Coach) and Online Course creator. In my previous life chapter I also have a Masters Degree in Law, and a Bachelors Degree in Commerce.

Sister, I know what you're going through...

I totally get it.

Here's what you need to know, though:

Most people think the “right diet” will solve their weight and eating issues; and if only they had a bit more willpower, then they’d have no problem sticking to their perfect diet…

But the sad thing is: we’ve known for decades that 80 – 95% of people who go on a restrictive diet for weight loss will regain all (or more) of the weight within 1-5 years.1

So let me play the unflinchingly-honest-older-sister-who-just-wants-the-best-for-you role right now and share the un-sugarcoated truth:

Unless you’re in the 5-20% minority, the real work that will actually help you get what you want — is to work on your relationship with food.

I see a life for you - where you enjoy total freedom around food, and feel confident in your body.

I have a deep understanding of eating psychology, unconscious patterns, and why you behave the way you do when it comes to food.

Your relationship with food is actually a mirror for your relationship with yourself. The rules you apply to food (perhaps unconsciously) are intimately connected to your perception of yourself and your body.

If you find yourself preoccupied with weight, that’s often tied to other aspects of yourself like confidence or self-worth.

My way of coaching effectively addresses emotional eating, binge eating, weight & body image challenges at the root, so that you can feel confident in your body and be at peace with yourself.

This work matters deeply to me because I've been there before.

I struggled with weight, body and food for nearly a decade.

What began as an innocent desire to “just lose a few kilos” at the beginning of university, soon spiraled down into low self-esteem, weight-obsession, persistent self-doubt, yo-yo dieting, and eventually manifested in an eating disorder (that I kept well-hidden from the world).

I tried all the diets and all the different strategies to “control” my weight and the disordered eating.

But none of that worked.

One of the hardest things about that time was I felt so alone in my struggles.

On the outside I looked completely normal. But on the inside it was truly turmoil: trying to control, restrict, mentally consumed by calories and fear of weight gain, bingeing & purging… But I felt so ashamed of my behaviors and I thought if I told anyone they’d think I was completely crazy.

At the time, I also didn’t know that I was doing the exact opposite of what it takes to heal. By suppressing unwanted behaviors, it only made them come back with a vengeance.

It wasn’t until I looked deeper, and addressed the root of my issues, that I could finally heal.

This is why I have a heart-felt dedication to help women heal their relationship with food and restore self-love for themselves and their bodies.

Because it’s personal.

Passing onto you the insights and methods that led to my own recovery

One of the most transformational but hard-to-accept lessons I learned in my own healing is:

The behaviors you judge and the patterns you so desperately want to get rid of, are actually here to help you.

Even though the knee-jerk reaction is to suppress, resist, deny, ignore, and do everything in your power to control the “bad” behavior, reality always comes in to humble you and show you repeatedly, that What You Resist, Persists.

When you can open your perception to see that maybe those behaviors are not “wrong” or “bad”… And then become curious about them, start leaning in closer, start opening a dialogue with those patterns, and eventually bringing compassion to those wounds… This is the process for true healing.

If you’ve read this far, quietly nodding, and you resonate with my story; then please know that you’re in the right place, and you’re not alone in your struggles.

I’d be honored to walk alongside you in your healing, hold space for your growth, and guide you towards the life you desire — one that’s filled with food freedom, body confidence, and unwavering self-trust.
